Poniższe wyjaśnienia dotyczą przepisów ustawy z dnia 11 marca 2004 r. o podatku od towarów i usług (Dz. U. nr 54, poz. 535; ostatnia szychta w Dz. U. z 2009 r. nr 215, poz. 1666), zwanej potem "ustawą o VAT".
